airsoft (late Halloween game)

Date: Friday the eighth.
Location: shop (by my house) and outside my house.
participants: (these are all our call signs) Hunter, Gunner, Beast, Red Fox, Falcon, Bandit, Earth-Man, Beanbag, Clay-Doh(!), Beans, myself, and Yorick (our mascot)
Game Modes: team death match, elimination, zombies with the lights off and attack and defense.

Highlights: during one of the zombie matches, myself, Beast, Bandit and Falcon were the soldiers, we were armed only with pistols and flashlights. we start out outside of the shop, open the big door, (that slides into the ceiling) rush in, blast Beans, (whose hiding place wasn't the best) then the door slides shut behind us. then it went dark. we switched our headlights on, and then realized our headlights suck. (not kidding!) so there we were, backed against the (big) door, then somebody starts banging on it! so we're standing there feeling extremely sketched out, and Falcon snapped. he ran off into the dark and was almost immediately attacked. i got the zombie though! Falcon was a wee bit shaky after that. after five minutes of random shooting at shadows, the door opens behind us, and Red Fox and Hunter rush in and proceed to attack while the other zombies rush up behind us, and i, not having any more ammo, and being caught in the corner, proceed to take out my tachatchet, and slaughter all the zombies single handedly. at least that's what should have happened. what really happened was i was brutally slaughtered. along with everyone else. (except for the zombies of course)
During a round of team elimination, (teams of two, trying to kill all the other teams) i got plugged, so i went into the shop, because no one was in there, and i was talking to Beans (who had also been eliminated) we're standing there talking, and Falcon and Red Fox run in, lock all the doors and then proceed to relax and reload. so we're standing there talking, (to deceased souls and two non-deceased yet players) then all of a sudden, the big door opens up (apparently they didn't lock it right) so Falcon takes off to the back, Red Fox jumps behind a barricade, and Beans and I drop. we crawled to the nearest barricade, and while we were sitting there i kept thinking, "this is so dumb, i mean texting in the middle of a wannabe war zone? it's ridiculous!" and being the General (game organizer has it's merits) and being way bored, (after a while the novelty of getting shot wears off) i got up, put my hands over my head, and ended that round.

Conclusion: A little while later we were playing zombies outside, (except the zombies had guns) Red Fox and i were the zombies, the other guys barricaded them selves in the shop, so we kick open the door, blast Gunner, (so he joined the ranks of the special forces undead) and take control of the front room. which, incidentally, has the light switches for the entire shop in it.... which was good for us, but bad for them. that one we had to end early, because everyone had to go home. but they all told me that they wished that we had left the light switches alone.
Moral of the match: taking control of the light switches and ammunition supply=victory.
my favorite bit: hanging out with my friends and doing what we love.
cheers!
